Scotch type boilers have high efficiency with high volume of water and they ara fully cylindrical. Scotch type boilers may be operated with the solid fuel in case of a special design.
Scotch type boilers are commonly used boilers by the industrial plants. Also they are used for the central heating applications by using low pressure design models. Fire tube boilers have the high volume of steam.For this reason, they can absorb the rapid and high steam consumptions. They are easy to operate and suitable to install automation systems. They may be operated up to 72 hours under the international norms without the operator control.
Steam plants needs the auxiliary equipments fort he steam production beside the boiler. These are; deaerator, condense depot system, feed water system , pumps, burner and the chimney.
